Basic Navigation and Managing Windows
THERE’S ONE THING CONSPICUOUSLY absent on the Galaxy S II browser: a Back button. But you can still go back to pages you’ve previously visited. Press the Menu key and select Back.
Just as with a browser on a computer, your Galaxy S II browser lets you open multiple windows and visit multiple sites. It’s just harder to tell that you’re visiting multiple sites, because the Galaxy S II’s browser doesn’t have enough room for tabs. Instead, the Galaxy S II opens multiple windows, one for each site you’re visiting. When you’re in the browser, tap the Menu key and select Windows, and you see thumbnails of your open windows. You’ll see your current page in the thumbnail. Swipe to the left or right to see other open windows. Tap any to view the site full screen. Tap the minus sign at its top to close the window. And tap “New window” at the top of your screen to open a new window.
