It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

The brain running the Galaxy S II is a piece of software from Google called Android. Samsung then tweaked Android so it gets the most out of the Galaxy S II using Samsung’s TouchWiz interface that works on top of Android. Both Google and Samsung regularly issue updates that improve the way the Galaxy S II works. So there’s a chance that since this book was written, there have been some changes to the Galaxy S II.
