Previously, I talked about the proper camera settings for photographing panoramas, but let’s quickly revisit the settings. Before you start shooting the scene, review this simple checklist because it is extremely important that the settings do not change in-between frames.
• White balance. Set the white balance to a named preset, Kelvin preset, or a custom white balance using a white balance tool such as the WhiBal, ExpoDisc, or ColorChecker Passport.
• ISO. Set the ISO to the lowest possible setting that is natural to the camera, such as ISO 100 or 200. Avoid using LOW 1 or any similar setting because those settings usually add extra contrast or saturation that you might not want in the photograph.
