The process of combining the multiple frames you captured by panning your camera into one large and very wide photograph is referred to as stitching. The end result is a beautiful panorama with a much higher megapixel count than your camera’s default setting. The obvious advantage of this is the ability to print much larger than you normally would.
Here, I will walk you through stitching in Photoshop because it is the most popular editing software among photographers, and it is used by professional panoramic photographers around the world. These instructions are for the Adobe Photoshop Creative Cloud (CC) version, which is used by more than 1.8 million photographers at the time of this writing.
