Long exposure photography is one of my personal favorite types of photography. It requires more thought about the scene, and provides me with the required standby and wait time during the long shutter speeds. In turn, I get to enjoy the scene even more. One advantage of a long exposure photograph is the ability to blur moving objects such as people, cars, water, and clouds. If you are photographing a cityscape with water in the frame, then the end result can be a very wide panorama with smooth water and puffy clouds.
