Step 5: Filling in Gaps
Your panorama is now filling the frame, but some transparency may still exist. You can now use the Content Aware feature of Photoshop to fill in added sky, water, etc. (This feature was introduced in Photoshop CS6.) To do this:
1. Press W on your keyboard to select the Magic Wand tool.
2. Click a transparent section of the image.
3. Choose Select > Modify > Expand.
4. Specify an amount of pixel expansion. This varies according to the scene, and some scenes require no expansion. I suggest starting at 30 pixels and using undo as necessary to experiment with smaller pixel counts.
5. Once you are happy with the selection, press Shift+Backspace/Delete to display the Fill option dialog box.
6. Click Content Aware for the Use ...
