After tracing the position of the ball, what remains is to make our robot follow the ball. We are going to use the x and y coordinate values as an input. While following the ball, however, we also have to make sure that the robot is at a suitable distance from the ball, so that it does not collide with the ball or the person who is holding it. To do this, we will also attach the ultrasonic sensor to our robot. For this project, I have attached the ultrasonic sensor trigger pin to the wiringPi pin no 12, and the echo pin to the wiringPi pin no 13 via a voltage divider circuit.
