So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Object recognition using OpenCV
Now that we've understood the important functions of OpenCV, let's write a program to detect a colored ball from an image. Before we start, the first thing we have to do is to take a proper photo of the ball. You can use any ball for this project, but just make sure that the ball has a single color (red, green, or blue color ball is highly recommended) and that it is not multicolored. I'm using a green ball for this project:
