I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Wiring the 16x2 LCD to the Raspberry Pi
To connect the 16x2 LCD to the Raspberry Pi, you will need a mini breadboard, as there are a couple of pins that need to be connected to the VCC and the GND. The wiring connections of RPi and the 16x2 LCD are as follows:
First, connect pin number 2 or pin number 4 from the Raspberry Pi to one horizontal pin of the breadboard, so that we can use that row as a VCC row. Similarly, connect one ground pin from the Raspberry Pi to a horizontal pin of the breadboard, so that we can use that row as the ground row. Next, follow these instructions:
- Connect the VSS (GND) pin to the ground row of breadboard
