Environment monitoring
Environment monitoring is used to monitor, diagnose, and analyze the health of the Microsoft D365FO environments.
Microsoft uses telemetry data to show monitoring and diagnostics information on LCS. This data is used in three scenarios:
- Monitoring: Helpful in finding out whether your environment is up and running (availability) and its health.
- Diagnostics: Helpful in troubleshooting user issues and getting insights into production SQL usage and some SQL troubleshooting tools.
- Analytics: This is currently only available to Microsoft. It is used to perform analytics to gauge and understand feature usage and performance using Microsoft Power BI.
