Packages and models are stored as a set of folders on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations application server. The following image represents the folder structure:

As shown in the preceding screenshot, PackagesLocalDirectory (called model store) is the root folder and contains the individual packages, for example, ApplicationCommon, ApplicationFoundation, ApplicationSuite, and so on.
