In the preceding section, we understood the basic integration concepts used in modern cloud- and web-based applications. Finance and Operations uses these concepts as part of the core integration architecture. On a high level, there are several key integration components, such as data entities, OData services, custom services, recurring integrations, business events, data feeds, dual write, and Data Lake integration. In this section, we will explore these components, concepts, and terminologies in detail, and we will also explore how to use these technologies while building integration solutions in our implementation projects.
