I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The go-live phase
In the go-live phase, the implementation team should address the following milestones:
- Cutover checklist: This checklist covers everything from master data to opening balances and open transactions to be made available on day one of going live.
- Go-live readiness: This includes everything needed to prepare your organization for smooth transition to the new system:
- Environment: This helps in knowing the whereabouts of the environment and its planning and distribution with needed stakeholders.
- Access: Accurate access/security is key to ensure users can perform their work in the new ERP.
- Communication mailers: This helps to keep everyone on the same page.
