Kicking off our custom scan

Once we've made our custom profile, we can invoke it, schedule it, or put it away for safe keeping. To run the scan, simply initiate a scan and select LAMP Profile (Global) (or whatever name you used) in the Configuration Profile to use field, as seen in following figure. We can control the number of instances, how the workload is provisioned (direct to a local computer running one or more instances, to a remote server, or using a grid of computers), and schedule it if so desired. Here, we'll just run it with two instances now and see how it performs.
