Establishing periodic updates
Periodic updates are essential to help us establish a rapport and craft a positive, constructive narrative with the customer. Our focus should be on helping them secure their web applications, and waiting till the end of the process may put the customer's stakeholders on the defensive. We need to be receptive to what they are going to see in that final report, to look to it for immediate guidance and value. If the leadership already has been prepared with periodic reports that key them into the major findings, they will have time to work through any defensive instincts they may have and instead look forward to the report for next steps.
