It is likely that you will be using Kali as a virtual machine, but on the off-chance you have a barebones installation, you may need to look into screenshot tools to assist you in gathering the visual proof of your conquests in pen testing.
Kali Linux has limited options built in, including recordmydesktop and cutycapt. I prefer tools such as Screenshot and Shutter. Screenshot or a similar tool such as Scrot are pretty basic, but Shutter gives you some options and a fancier management interface.
