When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
1.1. E-MENTIA AT HOME
Everything makes sense when viewed in the rearview mirror. Reactions, frustrations, judgments, or decisions that were surprising or unexpected in the moment aren't that surprising upon reflection. For example, I used to be somewhat of an expert at and I greatly enjoyed messing with my personal computer. I never owned one that I hadn't taken apart, upgraded, put back together, or just poked around in. I had the interest and competence required to do the work, and I enjoyed doing it. Now I only do this under extreme duress. It just seems like too much effort and, truthfully, I no longer understand how anything works. Software is even worse.
