When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
1.2. E-MENTIA IN THE WORKPLACE
We all have those "fingernails on the blackboard" things'the things that make us cringe or want to scream. For example, crying babies in restaurants, on airplanes, at the movies, or any place else, for that matter; obnoxious drunks; bad comics; small dogs with big mouths; etc. You get the point. I have a professional version of this, which would be articles that start with: "Having revolutionized [insert industry here], [insert new technology here] is now about to upend corporate learning." You might be saying to yourself: "People don't actually say that anymore, do they?" to which I would respond that this line (with the fill-in-the blanks filled in) actually appeared recently in a well-known journal intended ...
