Dialogs

Like most other Mac OS applications, Excel uses dialogs to communicate with you.

Excel can display many different dialogs, each with its own purpose. There are two basic types of dialogs:

  • Dialogs that simply provide information (Figure 24).

  • Dialogs that offer options to select (Figure 25) before Excel completes the execution of a command.
