Chart Type

Excel includes dozens of standard and custom chart types. You select the chart type when you create a chart with the Chart Wizard, but you can change the type at any time. You can also add your formatted charts to the Chart Gallery so you can use them to create future charts.

To change the chart type

1.
Activate the chart by switching to its chart sheet or, if it's an embedded chart, by clicking within it.

Choose Chart > Chart Type (Figure 28) to display the Chart Type dialog.

Click the Standard Types tab (Figure 43):
