I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

We've looked in the mirror to see how our feelings and our behaviors as managers can influence the feelings and therefore the performances of our employees. Are there any other influences we have control over as a manager?
Come up with any? Let's compare notes. One thing that has a big influence on employee attitudes is the feelings and attitudes of other employees. At work, we are surrounded by other people, and often must work with them (or even against them) to accomplish our goals. What if some of these people are negative, unhelpful, uncommunicative, or obstructive? Then they will have a negative impact on our motivation and can even push us onto the resistance path.
