“Why reinvent the wheel?” is a phrase often used in businesses. If the processes or tasks you require are done really well by colleagues or elsewhere, you can use a methodology developed in the NLP field to replicate the excellence. This is known as “modeling,” which is one of the three key benefits of NLP (see Chapter 1). Similarly, if you can do a particular activity excellently in one context and would like to do so in another, you can use the NLP modeling process to help you replicate your own excellence.
