It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Introduction to SONET/SDH— This section introduces Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) and the Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH), which form the backbone of many service provider, carrier, and large enterprise networks.
