This is the last but not the least chapter of the book. There are some treats here to finish up with. In some of the previous chapters, you were shown how to develop a managed code application for a running Compact 7 system. For development purposes, this required two instances of Visual Studio: one for the OS and one for the application. This chapter shows you how to package a working managed code application using CEComponentWiz so that it can be included in the OS build. This chapter also demonstrates a few tricks of the trade with managed code development for Compact 7. You can deploy a.NET application directly to a running OS using KITL rather than deploying it over Connection Manager. It is also possible to include a .NET application in the OS build.
