So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

The Windows Embedded Compact 7 development environment has many components; each requires different resources and involves different knowledge.
Although the Visual Studio 2008 and Platform Builder combination provides an efficient and developer-friendly environment, this environment involves multiple layers of technical knowledge that requires time and effort to master.
Familiarizing yourself with the development environment, terminology, and where to locate resources is important to speed up your learning process.
