It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
SUMMARY
Driver testing is a necessary phase of driver development. It is important for establishing that the driver is correctly configured, that it functions correctly, that it is robust, and that it doesn’t corrupt the operating system. You can use a wide range of tools to test a stream driver, starting with simple checks, through debug messaging and test applications to the CTK. All have a place in any driver developer’s toolbox.
