I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The impact on code during declarative changes
It is possible to break your good working functionality in just a few seconds. Imagine the following scenario: you developed a page so that you could create a new movie via a Lightning component with a callout to verify some data. You test everything and wrote your test code. Everything executed successfully.
Your customer wants to congratulate you on your nice work and is very happy with the new implementation, so they ask for a new field that's required in your movie object. They want to see the different genres of movies that are available, but these genres need to be requested (which is not always present in our movie DB service).
You think: "OK. I'll create a new field on the Movie__c object ...
