It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Lightning Component framework
The Lightning Component framework is a framework that's used for developing single-page web applications for mobile and desktop devices. Lightning components can be built by using two programming models:
- Lightning web components: These are custom HTML elements that are built using HTML and modern JavaScript.
- Aura components: These use JavaScript and predefined components, combined with HTML tags. You can use both components next to each other on one Lightning page.
