In this hour, I explained how one goes about obtaining CGI scripts other people have written, and configuring them so that they’ll run on your Web site. Not only can these scripts save you a lot of work, but they are a good learning tool as well. Even experienced CGI programmers can use downloaded scripts to get the Web applications they need up in a quick and efficient manner.
After you’ve installed scripts on your server that you’ve written or downloaded, chances are you’ll have to do some debugging before they work just right.
