It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

So far, I’ve described three tools that can make your life easier as a Perl programmer. You might be wondering where you can find information about other tools or about the Perl language itself. In this section, I’ll discuss the built-in Perl documentation, various Web sites, and two book resources. I’ll also take a look at CPAN—the Comprehensive Perl Archive Network, a huge archive of Perl modules that you can use to save yourself work.
