It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
What Kinds of Applications Involve Sending Email?
Several types of applications benefit from sending email programmatically. Consider a feedback form on a Web site that is used to solicit comments from users. The easiest way to pass the feedback to the designers is to send it to them via email each time the form is submitted. Email sent to users is often utilized by online stores.
