VNet integration

Once the Function App is deployed, you can configure the network integration.

There are a number of requirements that a VNet and App Service need to fulfil to be available for the integration, and they are as follows:

  • The VNet needs to be in the same subscription as your Function App
  • The VNet must have a point-to-site VPN enabled with a dynamic routing gateway (P2S VPN does not work with a static routing gateway)
  • The App Service plan needs to be, at least, on the Standard S1 tier

Typically, when you configure a function integration with a VNet, you will integrate with an existing VNet which already has some resources deployed into it. It is possible, however, to deploy a new VNet from the Function App networking blade. ...
