Web Apps

Used in building the Web dashboard in Chapter 3, Setting up the Development Environment, and onward, Azure Web Apps are a part of App Service offering, and as such, are priced in the exact same manner explained earlier for the App Service plan.

In the case of a simple Web Apps, however, it is more likely that the load is spread relatively evenly over business hours and that a single request will not require a lot of memory resources. Hence, we can assume that a single instance of the Standard S1 tier will be sufficient even for the 100,000 requests a day.
