The financially backed SLA for most Azure cloud services is 99.95% (meaning 21.56 minutes of possible downtime a month), including planned downtime. The actual uptime of most Azure services is significantly higher. In most cases, the uptime is over five nines (less than 25.9 seconds of downtime a month!).

Azure Functions are backed by a 99.95% SLA.

The uptime SLA is structured in the following manner:

Here, Service Credit is the percentage of the monthly service fee credited to the customer upon claim approval, and the monthly uptime is calculated using the following formula:
