Proxies

Azure Functions Proxies (currently in preview) allow you to specify the endpoints on your Function App that are implemented by another service. Among other things, this allows you to break your API implementation into multiple Function Apps, or add additional endpoints served by a different web API app while still presenting a single cohesive API to the end user.

Proxies also allow you to modify requests and/or responses, creating a transformation. These transformations can be static, or may use variables provided by the route template parameters, request and response parameters (such as request headers), or application settings.
