It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

So, where is all this high-leverage, transformation stuff headed? This book contains a wide variety of methods from different disciplines that help organizations and communities on their journeys to greater effectiveness, intrinsic motivation, healthier societies, and job satisfaction. It seems fitting that after providing you with some wonderful stories about the past and present, we also peer into the crystal ball and give you a taste of what we see unfolding in the future. Since the three lead authors—Peggy Holman, Tom Devane, and Steven Cady—have very different experiences, we each give you a chapter on an aspect of the future (chapters 66, 67, and 68, respectively).
