So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Brightening the Face, So It’s the Focal Point
Our eyes are drawn to the brightest part of an image, and in portraits, that should be your subject’s face. To help with that, there’s something I do to almost every portrait I take, and that’s to brighten the face by around 1/3 of a stop. Here’s how:
