I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
When to Use a Gold Reflector
Two of the most popular colors for reflectors are silver and gold, but they are used outdoors at very different times. Reflectors take the sunlight and bounce it back toward your subject, and the light that hits your reflector is going to pick up the color of what it bounces off of. Most of the time, we use a silver reflector outdoors because the light color it bounces is kind of neutral outdoors in daylight. However, if you hold up a gold reflector, when the sunlight hits that gold, what comes off it is gold-colored light.
