BEHIND THE SCENES: We’re doing a window light shot at a friend’s house here, but he doesn’t have that smaller high-up window I’m looking for, so instead, we’re using the large floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that lead out to his pool. I borrowed a really interesting chair, with a great color and interesting pattern, for my subject to sit on. In this behind-the-scenes photo, I’m doing a test shot standing, but I wound up sitting on a bar stool (so I’m shooting from slightly above eye height), and that’s the angle you’re seeing in the final image on the facing page.
