I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

NOTES: The reason for the larger scrim is because I wanted to shoot small groups and some full-length shots (I wound up doing both), while still having them in nice, soft light. For some of the shots, we pulled out a circular reflector to send a little light back toward our subject. However, light reflects big time, and there’s a ton of bright sun hitting the asphalt and bouncing back up toward our subject, so we didn’t have to use the reflector a lot.
POST-PROCESSING: I edited the image in Lightroom (but you can do these exact same edits, and get the exact same results, using Camera Raw) by lowering the Highlights a bunch (to –75. ...
