I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
An OpenStack Commands Primer
The euca2ools primer, earlier in this chapter, listed a large number of commands. Here, we need just one main command, but it has a ton of options. After Nova packages are installed, refer to the man pages for valuable information about how to use these options:
• nova-manage user—Can be used to manage users
• nova-manage project—Can be used to manage projects
• nova-manage role—Can be used to manage roles
• nova-manage db—Can be used to manage databases
• nova-manage flavor—Can be used to manage instance types
• nova-manage service—Can be used to manage services
