I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Of all the thousands of books on leadership and management our absolute favorite is Dusan Djukich’s Straight-Line Leadership. In it Djukich contrasts leaders who go in circles all day with leaders who go in a straight line, from A to B, getting the results they want. His central premise is that we all know what to do to get the result we want. He asks leaders to identify the objective, and then list the necessary required actions that must be taken.
