DESCRIPTION
This activity demonstrates the need to start and finish the appraisal interview
professionally. The group members individually critique examples of opening
and closing statements. Their findings are then discussed with the whole
group and alternative statements are produced for the ones they considered
to be poor.

This group training activity is aimed at the inexperienced interviewer. It can
