Modes discussed so far are applicable independently to Timer 0 as well as Timer 1. However, Mode 3 is ap-
plicable only for Timer 0. Timer 1 would stop working if it is set for Mode 3.
As illustrated in Fig. 15.9, Mode 3 converts Timer 0 to two independent 8-bit Timers. TL0 gets its
source signal from RUN/STOP CONTROL block and works as Timer or Counter. Its overfl ow generates
Timer 0 interrupt through TF0 bit of TCON. ISR for this interrupt must be placed at the location 000BH.
