One important point to be noted through Example 8.1 is the way diff erent parameters were passed from the
main program to the subroutine and vice versa. e subroutine needs a correct value at R0, which was initially
taken care of by the main program. After the fi rst iteration, the subroutine itself updates this register so that,
at every iteration, it starts with a correct value in R0.
