One half of a dual two-to-four decoder (74139) was used as the scan-line driver or digit driver. e out-
put of this device is suffi cient to drive high-intensity small-sized displays. Note that this 74139 is permanently
enabled by connecting its enable input (G, Pin 1) with system ground. Outputs Y0 through Y3 are connected
in such a fashion that digit D1 would be activated if P3.0 and P3.1 both output 0s.
