In this situation, if the leader controller needs to send some data to the follower with address 00000001B,
then it should fi rst target that follower controller by sending its 8-bit address with its ninth bit as 1. As the
SM2 bit of both followers is set, therefore, both followers would receive this address [Fig. 16.10(a)]. However,
only the follower of the target address would react by clearing its SM2 bit to 0.
In such a situation, if the leader controller sends several bytes of data with its ninth bit as 0, then these data
