Should the images you place in InDesign be RGB or CMYK? How about the swatches you make? The purpose of this section is to help you make an informed decision, so it’s worth a read.
To be merciful, here are my suggestions with minimal explanations. Fuller details follow.
With breathtakingly few exceptions, your images should be RGB. Those who’ve heard of profiles will likely ask, “which RGB?” The two most used are sRGB (Photoshop’s default and the assumed profile for web graphics) and AdobeRGB (1998).
