So many of the settings we’ve seen in this chapter can be recorded in an object style. From simple attributes like fill or stroke to frame fitting options to text wrap settings, pretty much any attribute for any kind of object can be stored and then applied quickly.
Object styles are more like character styles than paragraph styles in that object and character styles can affect only one or very few attributes, ignoring others. That is, an object style may apply a fill color but be set to ignore all stroke settings, for example. That said, few of us leverage this à la carte possibility extensively. Let’s explore what’s possible.
