It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Frame Basics
Before we start creating documents, let’s first be sure we know something about the ingredients. First among those is text. For all that follows, I will assume you created a workspace following the process to “Create Usable Workspaces” (page 7).
- From your downloaded course files, open 02 Text Frames and Type Styles.indd.
Since we completed the setup in the first chapter, no fonts should be reported as missing. You should be viewing the first page of a 17 page document: its title page. To advance to the next pages, you have choices.
First, the Pages panel: double-click the page numbers of a spread to view it.
- Double-click the 2–3 you see under those pages in the Pages panel. That spread should now be in the document window. ...
